How we work

We work through encouraging community dialogues. We help communities to develop and tell their own digital stories about who they are, their pressing issues, initiatives and the type of partnered support they are looking for.

We facilitate ‘whole of community’ and regional stakeholder dialogues around transitions to sustainable communities and regions through social learning technologies like ‘storytelling and learning networks’, community wikis and learning communities to help stakeholders to dialogue, report on local projects and collaborate around adaptive strategies.

Initiatives here include the New England Regional Sustainable Strategy and our work supporting the Northern Rivers dialogue about transitions to a sustainable region (download reports).

At present we are extending our partnerships from within Australia across the Pacific into 4 Fijian communities and are exploring how we can support the Adior community in Southern Sudan.
